Pixar movies bloopers used to scare me as a kid

r/

I don’t even know why😭 but something about those fake outtakes at the end of Pixar movies always unsettled me. I guess cause in my mind these animated characters aren’t supposed to be “real” so seeing them breaking the fourth wall just felt off lmao- Sometimes I would just rush to turn them off before they started and my sister would make fun of me for it lol.
Even now as an adult I still don’t really enjoy them 😬 I don’t fear them anymore obviously buuut I find them kind of, idk, awkward? I know most people love them and find them hilarious so I’m guessing this is an unpopular opinion.

It’s interesting how something so innocent as Pixar bloopers can leave a lasting impact on kids. As a child, the combination of out-of-context animation mistakes and the characters breaking character could be unsettling. When you’re young, you’re not always ready for the behind-the-scenes moments, and seeing your favorite characters glitch or act out of place can be a bit scary at first.

I can totally relate to the unsettling feeling of seeing a familiar world break down, especially in movies that were supposed to be comforting. It’s almost like witnessing a bit of magic disappear. But as you get older, you learn to appreciate the humor and creativity that go into those bloopers, making them much less frightening and more entertaining!

What would you do if you bought a doll and one day it turned its head on its own to look at you?
