An acquaintance lost my cat due to her negligence, so I didn’t care for the girl code and slept with her situationship

This was a few years ago. I had to travel and needed help to take care of my two cats.

I had a roomate but he was going through a bad mental space so I enrolled additional help by asking this girl who was a friend of a friend and whom I was starting to hang out with 1:1 because of similar interests. Since she lived with her parents, this was a win win, she could have independence to smoke freely and invite her situationship over and I could travel for 3/4 weeks without worrying about the cats. Or so I thought.

They left one of the cats outside overnight and chose not to tell me they were looking for her for 2 full days, I only found out through another friend who showed me the flier they were using.

I lost my shit, I told everyone off, cut my trip short and looked for my baby for weeks without success. During this time I was seething and decided to move away from the city and rent my house out instead of staying where I was not happy. I ended moving away after this, but before I did, the guy the girl was seeing popped by my house to apologize for not telling me they had lost the cat, he wanted to but the girl had a fit and that was around the time I found out.

Anyway we ended up sleeping together and I do feel a bit bad about breaking girl code, but she wasn’t even my close friend AND LOST MY CAT!

I mean she had one job. Regardless, I know it was petty of me but I honestly don’t care one bit about her.

Feels good to let it out for the first time.
