Cry it out and just feel the feelings. Then do things I enjoy or hang out with friends when I am up for it. Self care helps make me feel better too and treating myself to some good food.
I put all my focus onto myself. Radical self care. I take care of myself regardless, but after a breakup, you’re pretty much only gonna find me at the gym, in the bathtub, or in bed.
I actively focus on my non romantic relationships. I surround myself with people who I have never had to question their love for me. I rekindle and reconnect.
Actively learning and doing new things.
Practicing mindfulness and gratitude.
Completely cutting out what does serve me anymore.
Self affirmations.
I am so lucky that I have loved people well outside of romance. I am so lucky that I continue to learn new things. I am blessed in these ways.
cry it out, but don’t let yourself fester in your own emotions for too long no matter how badly you want time to stop. spend time with friends, make sure you get out of your house very often. go on walks. start a physical activity if you don’t already do one (running, yoga, pilates etc). keep yourself occupied.

Nothing. Im mature enough to not be affected by a breakup.
