Yeah, I admit it. Every time I have a hard day or a particularly rough depressive episode, I turn to my baby blanket and snuggle into it. It just makes me feel better. Better than any drug or alcohol, honestly.

Nothing wrong with that
thats kind of nice.
My original issued Woobie is older than you and I still sleep with it everyday. 1988 til now, it’s a little thread bare, but after this many years and many different countries/deployments, I can’t stand to not have it.
I still sleep with my childhood blanket and I’m in my late 30’s. It’s still the coziest blanket I own and it’s not full of holes or anything so why not 😊
I slept with mine til I was 18 and went off to college. Wish I still had it tbh!
I took my teddy bear to the hospital when I had my first kid at 19 . It. Happens
I kept using my childhood teddy bear for a very, very long time. It wasn’t until my mid-twenties that I really got used to not using him anymore, because he was starting to fall apart. I just couldn’t do that to Teddy 😉
(You get used to these things, and they give you a sense of security. I really don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.)
I’m 28 and married with a masters degree and still sleep with the same stuff dog I got when I was 5 ¯_(ツ)_/¯
More common than you think
That’s quite nice. I wish I still had my childhood blanket. You should absolutely keep cherishing it and don’t let anyone make you get rid of it.
