I’m a PhD student in a languages & culture program, and have been TAing for a professor who invited me on a study abroad trip this December as a faculty member. I won’t be teaching, but more like chaperoning students, and maybe helping with their Italian while there.
Do/can I put this on my CV? If so, where? Any insight would be appreciated!

You could list it as Service to the school/community.
Is this an official visiting position, e.g. you are posted on the department website etc? If so it’s pretty common to write “visiting student” or “visiting faculty” most likely in the education section?
