Im getting my wisdom teeth out in a month, im getting them removed kinda young so im still elgible to getting my ass whooped and grounded by my parents.
I have heavily religous parents who think im their angel, and ive been messing around with my boyfriend so i dont need them knowing 😬
Any tips on avoiding if you do?

No
no.
what type are you getting? fully put under or laughing gas?
It makes a lot of people say silly things, so maybe you’ll be a silly one!
Very slim chance of happening.
And it would be very harsh to ground you for something you said while under an anesthetic.
All you need to know is “Doctor-Patient confidentiality,”
Besides that, you might start flirting with the nearest person but that’s about it.
Nah, it’s not a truth serum. You might wake up a bit “high”. I told my mom we need more art in the house cuz I woke up and there was a cool painting on the wall but I didn’t start sharing what I was doing on the weekends after they were asleep.
I’ve been put under about 10 times and the only weird things I did was talk about bugs and cry about seagulls. All other times I was just groggy and lowkey mad.
No but I did start talking to my mom in sign language as I was waking up. Fun fact, neither of us know sign language.
I came out to my mom after getting my wisdom teeth out at 18 and never knew it until I came out to her again when I was older and she told me. So. There’s that.
dont get put under, unnecessary risk
Wen I got my wisdoms pulled they put me under. Before I went under I asked the lady that was gonna pull my teeth wow you’re pretty. Do u have a sister? Then I went out. I woke up but all I did was sleep the rest of the day. I was hella groggy.
Nope
I mean if wanting a cookie is my deepest darkest secret then ya. I woke up and wanted to sleep more and have cookies they were giving out 😂
Not at all. It’s not truth serum and you will be fine.
No. When you’re waking up, it’s like drinking to a light buzz in reverse. If a couple of drinks isn’t enough to make you tell strangers about the time you killed a hitchhiker, anesthesia won’t either.
I’ve never said anything remotely interesting or funny after anesthesia. Not at all like being drunk
I don’t think so but I did unintentionally flash my nurse when she asked me to show her my incisions after getting abdominal surgery lol. She didn’t seem to take it too hard.
I was told I was very quiet and just looked around the room before passing out. I’m an observer type so it matched my personality.
I never had anesthesia, but I took a lot of drugs and my guess:
No. It makes you more okay with sharing stuff, like alcohol and Benzodiazepines. English isn’t my native Lang. So idk the specific word I’m searching for but yeah. It makes you less scared of the consequences.
So if it’s something you really want to tell someone but you are scared, you MIGHT tell it but no one can say for sure what you are going to Do. But if it’s something you really really don’t want anyone to know, I’m pretty sure that won’t change.
No secrets of any kind, but the nonsense things they said to the nurse and me were hilarious – my stomach hurt so much from laughing. I even have a couple of short videos that I revisit when I’m in a bad mood.
Not to make you nervous, but one of the times I was under for a surgery the last person I saw was my anesthesiologist, and he was hot AF. As I’m waking up afterwards, the recovery nurse says something like you really liked Dr (whatever his name was,) youve been talking about him and things you wanted to do to him the entire time in surgery and recovery.
I get you. I had to go under anesthesia before I came out to my parents and I was terrified I would say something. In reality I just laughed cuz my mom had 2 heads
In my experience, all I did when I woke up from anesthesia was immediately complaining that I was cold and my throat hurt.
It personally doesn’t affect me like that – my first time going under I was afraid of that as well.
My daughter woke up completely afraid because she didn’t remember why she was there and had no idea what the dentist did to her. It was the most heartbreaking thing to see her so scared.
No it doesn’t. But it can make you hilariously funny. My son was recovering after surgery and staring at the nurse taking a quick blood sample from his canula. As she left, he muttered “…stinkin’ vampires”.
Anesthesia makes you ramble nonsense. Some of it might be true, but it’s impossible to know.
I had my gallbladder out, and I asked the recovery nurse if I could keep it in a jar to warn my other organs to behave. This is very on brand for me, but not something I’d normally ask, lol.
Hospital recovery areas don’t allow anybody but patients and nurses here, so that if you DO reveal anything private, nobody will know.
I offered to drive us home after getting my wisdom teeth out because my mom struggled to get into the truck we were borrowing. People react differently.
