That’s what my bottle of vodka is for.
Force a smile and go to bed early
Just accept it is life and fix what you can. I gave up on keeping up years ago.
Nothing. Things always calm down eventually, and reacting to my environment negatively has never improved my situation in the past.
“It is what it is” is a common phrase for a reason.
I go for a walk or bike ride.
Find a private space to vent or vent to a friend that’s okay with listening to your venting
You learn to roll with the punches. Though, I want to stress that you’re allowed to feel like shit, don’t let anyone tell you anything else. Just recognize your feelings and try to evaluate if you need to act on them. Sometimes life gets tough, but the only way through hell is through.
Think of my plans for the future and how it will all be worth it in the end. When that thought isn’t enough to cope I start looking for a new job.
I don’t lose my shit. That’s a useless waste of energy and counterproductive. I put my head down and work through it.
Work out, sauna, yoga.
Or MDMA.
Take a walk, know you don’t have any control then make it to the end of the day, hope tomorrow is a better day and ultimately hang on. You probably made it through worse days and in the end it usually ends up ok.
I just say “Fuck this fucking shitball pile of crap” or “Fuck you, you cunty piece of shit” or something similar, then go have a nice cup of tea/play with my cats/do some weeding in the garden/ do something relaxing.
You’ve hit the muddy spots on the trail. So long as you know you’re headed in generally the right direction keep on plodding. It kigbt suck but you’ll get out the other side
Keep silently losing it
Depends on the circumstances… but normally, circumstances permitting, nap a lot and sleep a lot until I feel like I can face it, then start digging through the issues one at a time. Whatever is annoying me the most, or causing the most problems, gets dealt with first. Also, given similar levels of annoyance or problems, easy issues get dealt with before hard issues.
Once I’m past the part of feeling overwhelmed, I also make it a point that after dealing with one issue, or if I’m on a roll then when I’m running out of steam, I take a break to do something fun, then pick back up when I can.
I’ve been pretty lucky that when lots goes wrong, I’ve had the opportunity to take that approach and not have them all be emergencies. Emergencies, obviously, get dealt with immediately, but you can be damn sure I’m sleeping or getting comfort food with a friend after it’s dealt with.
Swear against god.
Go on a strike
Relax. Then Write a plan.
Tomorrow u can put it action
Take a deep breathe. You’ll get through it.
Find the next right thing and do just that. You can’t do everything faster than one thing at time.
Finish and find the next right thing
Too old now and have put up and dealt with so much crap over the years that I actually chuckle and smile when a new crisis pops up. Shit happens, tomorrow is a new day and you can’t change history.
There’s no point wasting energy on something that you can’t change.
I just got to the point where I just take the L on the chin and keep it movin’. Ain’t no sense in dwelling on shit you can’t control
Keep on, keeping on!
I take a step back and just take a breather.
Make a list, smoke a joint, get some sleep, wake up, have a glass of water, get to work on the list.
If you’re going thru hell, keep going. Sometimes things are bad, but keep moving and doing what you can and you’ll come out the other side eventually. The good times are only good because you’re familiar with bad times and can feel the difference.
Freaking out isn’t a solution, it’s just a noise. And then when you’re done yelling you still have to get to work on the list, but with a sore throat
