I have heard a phone notification noise this morning which woke me up and I believed it to be my partners work phone yet they had it on them at work and not in the house.
She thought that I was dreaming yet later in the day we both heard it again.
There are no old phones in the house and this is not an iPhone noise which we both have.
The house alarm went off yesterday which is also worrying.
I have looked in the attic and found nobody / no signs of life. No food etc has gone missing and I don’t hear anybody sneaking around. No signs of life other than this phone noise.
Any help is appreciated as it is driving me crazy. Especially as my parents don’t believe me about the noise.
Is there somebody in my house or what could be an explanation to this?

I’d be more inclined to think your partner had a secret second phone and just forgot to silence it and then feigned ignorance.
If there is someone secretly in your house they would need a spot to hide that’s at least big enough to sleep in. Check crawl spaces under the house. These days motion activated cameras are also very cheap. Maybe set up a couple inside and outside your home for a few days and see if you pick up any weird activity?
Carbon mo oxide detector or smoke alarm need new battery? Furnace throwing an error code?
Do you have an alexa or a computer/tv something else with Alexa compatability?
When I lived with my housemate, I’d here iPhone notifications going off when she wasn’t in, and I have an android. It really freaked me out, then I realised it was her iPad! So maybe it’s another device?
