Yes
Yes. Put a sign on the microwave, make it look fancy pants upper management style and no one will say a thing.
Honestly yes. It is rude and impolite to others.
Yes
Im a trash truck mechanic on a fish diet right now and I have to heat up my lunch in the only break room we have. But the fish smell from my lunch is not strong enough to overpower the smell of ass from all the garbage truck drivers here. So no one complains thankfully. I use to use an acetylene torch to heat up my food when we didn’t have a microwave.
In a lunch room, no.
1000%, some smells make me gag so hard i can’t eat for the rest of the day
Yes. Stinky food in general at work is rude.
I LOVE kimchi, for example. I eat it frequently at home. I leave it at home, though, because others in my office wouldn’t appreciate the smell, and its important to be considerate of others in the workplace.
Microwaved fish reeks. Eat it cold or eat it at home.
100 percent rude
It’s definitely rude to the fish.
Yes in hotels in Alaska they will actually fine you for cooking fish because the smell is so strong and permeating it costs management to clean.
Absolutely it is.
Yes
Absolutely, yes. Someone at work did exactly this, and it smelled awful for the next 5 hours of the shift.
I love fish of all sorts but even i know not to microwave fish especially in a work break room.
Yes this is very rude.
The outcome of your action affects everyone else in the office negatively and the only way you can justify that is if you are placing yourself way above them. Damn right it’s rude.
Suppose there’s a chance you could really be completely clueless instead but that’s not much better
