My suggestion is either to wear a hat, get some concealer, or put a bandage over it.
You could combine the bandage with an arm sling and tell everyone you were in a minor car accident.

Well, at least you know your forehead is a great place for a love bite! Just slap on some concealer and tell everyone it’s your new fashion statement. Who needs hats when you can rock a hickey, right?
Hickeys are basically bleeding inside the skin: i.e. bruising.
It takes time. You can possibly speed up the healing process by using cold. Otherwise you gotta wait. Use some coverup.

I had an ex give me a hickey on the cheek 🙃 i met his family afterwards. they all just thought it was a birthmark so no one pointed it out.
but a cold spoon helps. toss one in the freezer for 5-10 minutes and then press it against the hickey. it won’t go away immediately, but it’ll help a good bit.
