Sometimes people tell me I’m weird for how much I love my family. I dont mean in a weird way, but my grandma or little brother just break my heart. I would do anything for them. When I see pictures of them it always makes me smile. Sometimes I even go back and look on old pictures to think about the memories (theyre still alive lol, i just mean good times)… is this normal?

Of course it’s normal.
completelyyy normal. it shows you had a wonderful upbringing and a great relationship with them, im happy for you
Sweetheart! You’re so lucky!
You have family to love and you’re aware of your emotions.
The problem isn’t you.
If more people were this way. The world would be an amazing place.
It’s is completely normal and healthy. People project their own insecurities/ trauma about their own families; especially on Reddit AITAH where people advocate not helping family members.
It’s normal but unfortunately there are lots of us who don’t exactly come from the greatest families. That can make it hard to have the feelings you have in regard to wanting to do anything for them. Sad but true :/
It’s the ideal. Although I wonder how common it is, really. A lot of people are estranged from their families or have a strained relationship with them. I think people tend to defend family and go through the motions more, because it is expected and it’s what they have, rather than because there are all these wonderful feelings and great stuff in the bank, free from trauma and deep disappointments or frustrations.
But if you have a great relationship with your family, there’s absolutely nothing to be insecure about or doubt.
I hope it’s normal, it’s wonderful.
Yes! Normal and healthy. I love a bunch of my family and smile every time I think of them. I also have some sour thoughts about some of them. And really dislike some other ones. Humans are allowed to have all the feelings.
