I’m an international student considering applying for a PhD in Law in the US, and I was wondering if there are any PhD in Law graduates or current students here who might be open to answering a few questions about the process.
I’d love to get some advice on how someone from my background can improve their chances of getting into a program and what the best approach might be when preparing for a PhD. In particular, I’m interested in tips on improving academic legal writing and research skills before starting the program, since I know writing at the PhD level is a whole different challenge.
If anyone’s willing to share their experiences or point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it.
