Used to do this all the time when I was a kid – I would lie on my back and look up and a little bit backwards at the ceiling. You imagine shifting your perspective so that you are actually on the ceiling now and looking down at the “floor”. After you got good at it you could almost believe you were up there, and when you stood up after the disorientation of coming back to the floor would always make you dizzy.

Haha holy crap you unlocked a memory when I used to be at my grandparents house😄 the disorientation part hit heavily!! I completely forgot about this type of memory until now
As a kid I used to walk around my house holding a mirror facing upward at the ceiling and try to navigate my way around looking only at the ceiling reflection. Idk why I was doing it – I guess I was imaging walking on the ceiling – it usually resulted in stumbling/falling on stairs and many bruises.
Yes.
I also used to imagine that I was a giant sitting in my room watching a movie on a tv screen that’s actually the size of the screen at the theater
I thought it would be fun to step over the wall above the door in an upside down house when I was a kid. Now that I’m older I realise that would be annoying.
I used to hold a hand mirror under my eyes, with the mirror facing up and walk around pretending the ceiling was the floor. Luckily never bumped into anything and cut up my face
That sounds like fun and I’m going to incorporate this game into my daydreaming techniques.
Did the same all the time 🤣, still do occasionally ( I’m over 50)
Yes, I didn’t know anybody else did it.
I forget what it is but there’s a specific amount of time where you brain orientates to it. And you can read naturally from the position. I think its like mins. Or like most things I just habe absolutely no idea what I am remembering.
i try not to, the ceiling is lava is the very thing that ended the pompeii
