Start off with :
“I am worthy of love”
“I deserve respect”
“I love myself”
Say it even if you don’t believe it. Repeat it in the mirror multiple times a day.
Then move onto:
“I love my hair”
“I have beautiful eyes”
“I have amazing skin”
Anything of the sort – even if you don’t believe it.
It’s easier to trick your mind than you think.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Why are you a good friend?
How do you like to dress?
Learn about yourself and you’ll slowly start to uncover the fact that you are worth being loved, whether that’s by you or someone else.
Wish you luck!
Begin by acknowledging your strengths, no matter how tiny they seem. Write them down and read them daily. Treat yourself like you would treat a dear friend. Be gentle with your thoughts and forgive yourself for any mistakes.
What helped me most was starting small. If there’s something that genuinely makes you happy no matter how small, do it. Whatever it may be, just focus on something that just makes you feel alive, and then keep progressing.
Also don’t compare yourself to anyone, I know it’s easier said than done. Learn that you’re worthy of everything good and you deserve love and happiness just like everyone else.(Tell yourself this anytime you feel insecure)
Learn to be at ease with urself first .
One step at a time, this is something I struggled with a while ago and a certain point when this feeling is eating you up and just filling everyday from morning to night with nothing but pitiful energy and thoughts you have to face the terms, it means something else for everyone but in essence the past is the past is done the present is a gift we get and future is ours, you’ve wasted so many days maybe even years on this feeling because it’s easier to keep going with it when it feels like the truth and like you can’t escape it, but think of it logically instead that this is it, this is who you are, you can do something with this undeniable feeling and truth of yourself or wallow away in it, if you wanna do something with it it’s something that starts with thoughts where you have to actively train yourself against any negative thoughts fake it till you make it, then try any form of self improvement you can stick to like exercise, reading etc. exercise will be crucial but the easiest step for this is drinking water goals keep trying to find small health goals like that and it’ll help a lot and eventually I’d suggest getting to more extreme forms of engangement like running or cycling through outdoor trails, these things are easier said than done but life is a hard journey and it is like that for most people it can be incredibly unfair but we must strip ourselves of our convictions we hold to and realise it’s a collective effort that more and more people feel like this but everyday you can impress or depress it’s an honour we get to try again everyday it’s a joy we get to suffer for the others no longer can you must learn you are worth the pain you deserve too see why life can hurt so much, you could never love the sun without the moon.
