Ask her questions? Then ask follow up questions that show you’re listening and interested.

Might as well asked her about her view of the relationship between Bank Angle, Turning Radius and Speed.

I’m guessing this is just a random person on the street or something? Then just ask them what they do or what’s the reason they are out in the first place. Good way to get them talking

seaweed, needle manufacturing, types of jellyfish, fig reproductioin

Jesus dude my girl almost left me. Keep that weather talk to yourself sir!

  6. RAINBOWAF Avatar

What is the reason you want to talk to her . If there’s a reason you probably already know what to ask .

  7. FunSolid310 Avatar

stop thinking like it’s a job interview

talk like you would to anyone you’re curious about

    • “you from around here?”
    • “what kinda stuff you’re into?”
    • “you got any weird hobbies or just boring ones?”

people overcomplicate it tryna sound cool

being genuinely curious > sounding smart

also… if the convo dies after the weather, she probably ain’t into it. don’t force it

  8. NotJimIrsay Avatar

If you are genuinely interested in her, you should ask question to get to know her. And be a good listener. When you do that, she ends up doing most of the talking, and you still appear engaged in conversation.

Do you like cheese? Is typically a good follow up

    So how’s your day going?

  16. tortured-poet24 Avatar

    My go too.

“Hey, how’s your day going?” (Afternoon or evening, if it’s the morning, then you’d say, “How’s your morning coming along so far?”
Then follow up with a comment on your day, always a positive, even if it’s going shitty.
Then a small compliment, nothing big just a, “I like your sweater, by the way.” (There is one flaw in this, if your at a beach scrap this part completely, or at your own risk)
From there you can determine whether or not the conversation is going anywhere if they respond with a compliment to you then your in, ask them about they’re job or hobbies, where they’re from, what they’re doing, etc etc. Then when they ask you back you tell them, try to sneak a funny white lie on if it’s something boring, for example if your going to buy groceries or something say your on your way to Rob a farm. Stupid shit thst will get a chuckle out of someone, the element of suprise is everything in comedy, make it farfetched and stupid if you like.

From they’re if there still into the conversation it should flow and eventually you want have to think of every single question beforehand and it becomes a regular conversation,

(Long explanation short, ask about day/night, compliment, small talk, joke, converse, and beyond)

This is the problem with online dating or dating apps in my mind. If you quickly match with someone and then choose a date with little to no small talk, you’re going in unprepared. Younger generations are getting their legs kicked out from under them because they rely so heavily on social media for things to talk about as well as a platform to communicate. It’s hard to chat about common interests when memes aren’t involved.

If you haven’t already ascertained her interests, that’s the time to start asking man. If you know nothing about them, even better. Ask her what she does, how she does it, what it entails. Ask her about her job, how she winds down after work. What are her future plans? Does she like travelling? Special interests?

If you don’t want to ask that stuff, you shouldn’t have agreed to the date.

Basically anything? I wouldn’t even start with the weather unless it’s like hurricane helene type

Good plan for any date is to ask open-ended questions about the other person. If you run out of questions before the end of the first date, there probably shouldn’t be a second.

Whatever amuses me in the moment. Don’t ask her what amuses her, amuse yourself and let her mirror your vibe.

I like watching storms from the covered back porch. I can hear the sirens going and watch the lightning. It’s also easier to hear the thunder out there.

I used to watch the water rise in my yard but that has been fixed and no more flooding,

Just talk about the things you know and like or ask her about the things she likes.

My go-to is chickadees because they are remarkable birds and often people dont know very much about them
