I see it all the time. People throwing their hazards on and the doing whatever the fuck they want. It’s for alerting people to emergencies or danger. It’s not for dropping people off at the train station right in front of the sign prohibiting that very action. It’s not for doordashers. It’s not for lawn maintenance workers to park in the fucking road for 45 minutes while they mow someone’s lawn.
The punishment needs to be more severe for blatant misuse of hazard lights.

I agree. It’s also not a “it’s raining” indicator, or “I don’t need to obey traffic laws” button either. I’ve seen a general uptick in people driving with their hazards on doing whatever tf they want, as if those lights somehow excuse you from traffic laws.
