Wasn’t able to post this in the askwomen chat so thought I’d ask on here 🙂
I’m 20F and just curious about any advice older women have to share!

Don’t shrink yourself to make others comfortable. Dont date guys you work with. Do take care of yourself (physically, mentally, emotionally).
Life is hard, pick your struggle and own it.
My favorite quote: “You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world, and there’s still going to be somebody who hates peaches.”- Dita Von Teese
You really can’t please everyone. Just be yourself and have fun with it. People are always going to have something to say about it, but as long as you’re secure within yourself- that’s what matters.
Be independent. Get life skills. Be happy. Have hobby and interest.
Live for yourself. Avoid getting married. Live alone if you can.
Avoid men at all costs
use a condom
You’re dammed if you do and you’re dammed if you don’t. So do what makes you happy
Never let people dictate you. Never let what other people say to you get in your head, at the end of the day it is your life to live so atleast live it at your own terms 🙂
Save your money. Don’t buy frivolous things bc they don’t last
Chose a major that you like and comes easily to you. Because even things that come easily will end up being a lot of work… don’t make yourself miserable choosing something super hard that you don’t enjoy doing. No matter how practical it seems.
Build your life to where you are as completely independent and as happy as you can possibly be without a partner. Then it will be so much clearer exactly what you want in a partner to add to your life and you won’t be settling for someone.
Start using tretinoin now, you won’t regret it. I’m 51 and I’ve used it over 20 years- shit is fire.
