Hi! I need help with choosing a Ps5 . I have no knowledge about these kind of things so i don’t want to mess it up. I’ve seen for example: Ps5 disc edition , digital edition, ps5 pro.
Which one is the best ? And do i need to buy something else for it?

PS5 Slim. Pro isn’t worth it
I have a PS5 Digital and love it. I do wish I had the graphics boost of the Pro (it wasn’t available when I got mine), and would get that if you have the extra money to spend.
The disc version is bulkier and I’d only get that if he has an extensive PS4 library of hardcopy games he wants to play on the PS5. Otherwise, just get the digital.
For accessories, a charging stand is nice to have for controllers but not needed.
That’s pretty much it.
The PS5 Digital Edition should be more than enough, unless your boyfriend really prefers buying physical games. The Disc version is more expensive, and honestly, it’s probably not worth the extra cost. The PS5 Pro is way too expensive for what it has to offer and isn’t a huge upgrade either, mostly just 4K at 60fps. If you’re on a budget, the Digital Edition is definitely the best choice.
For most people the standard PS5 is fine. The Pro is mostly for people who are fans of the PlayStation brand and want the best possible version. But for most people probably isn’t necessary.
As for Disc vs Digital. Personal preference. If I were you I would get the version that is the cheapest and then use any extra money (if you have it in the budget) to buy him a WD_BLACK SN850P NVMe™ SSD for PS5® consoles – 2 TB. This is storage expansion that will allow him to save a lot more games and data onto the PS5. This is a better upgrade to get him.
Disc edition if he has ps4 games he wants to play.
