Drinks made with corn syrup taste better than those made with cane sugar.

r/

Cane sugar has an overbearing flavor when compared with corn syrup. It’s way too much pure sweetness, and it overwhelms any other flavors in the drink. Corn syrup is a bit more subtle, and allows the intended flavor to shine through. I don’t get the hype about cane sugar sodas. They taste like pure sugar. Way too one-note.
