i wouldve liked to know the bet/lose ratio honestly. my friend keeps telling me to online gamble but her deposit/cashout ratio is insane and that doesnt even count her daily free spins on the site 😂
Ive won $600cad my first time ever playing slots.. went to play another time, lost my money and decided i didnt like gambling 😂😂 ive only lost money since
Got odds of about 30-1 on Phil Neville, in his late 30’s, re-signing for Man United. When David Moyes, the manager at Neville’s existing club, Everton, got the Man United job, someone at Sky was a bit slow on updating those odds.
It was my last day in Las Vegas and I think I had lost like $600 so I was not going to spend much more and I walked past a dollar slot machine five dollars was the max so I put $20 in and the second hit. I won $2769 went on vacation with that and bought hearing aids ha ha ha.
Back in the early 90s i hit a trifecta at saratoga for like $500, but since then im lucky to break even on a scratch off ticket. In all fairness, i might buy 1 or two a year, so not a big gambler.
I won $150 on a scratch off,my brain told me to buy it. I cashed that in, bought another few with like $10 and won $100 on one. This was way back in 2008 and it’s the most I ever made on anything
I won $50 on the blackjack once and that nights drinking was free. Today I’d probably only gotten two drinks out of it but this was in the 90’s so I bought like ten beers at least.
$5k playing craps. Had a heater of a roll. Close to like 50 min. Kept making my point. Everyone at the table was making huge bank. That weird feeling hit me. I just knew it. I asked them to cash me out mid-roll. Pissed everyone off at the table but I just knew. I left $25 on the line so I could keep rolling for everyone else that wanted to stay in the game. Threw a 7. It was over like that.
Great night. Like in the movies we wanted to throw the money in the air and have it land in a pile on the bed, the do it. But they gave me a check. Made me fill out a tax form.
When our state got the lottery back in the early 80s, I played my 4-digit clock number every day for one year. On day 366, my number came up. I won $400 When you subtract the $366 spent up until that winning day, my profit was $34
I was on a company ‘high sales achievers’ trip to Paris in the mid-80’s. It was all inclusive, staying at a nice hotel and going out to watch the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe at Longchamps race course. We were given some money to place bets, and I backed the winner – won a few hundred francs and everyone was asking me for racing tips after that. I had no idea
The most money I’ve ever gotten gambling was about $1200 the 1st time playing craps at a real table in Vegas, I think it was at the Gold Coast.
Funny thing though, I didn’t actually “win” the money. I was just playing very conservative betting the pass line and odds. When it was my turn to shoot the dice I played the same, however there were 5-6 others at the table playing all sorts of other things. I rolled 30 something times before hitting the 7. I maybe hit the point twice, so I won a little money for myself, but not that much. Meanwhile all the others won a boat load because it took me so long to crap out. When my roll was over, 2 of the guys took their chips and left but both gave me 1200 in chips as a “tip” for being a good shooter.
It was the most fun gambling I ever had, everyone cheering and hollering at the table.
I have a few big wins. $20,000 NBA DFS DraftKings and multiple 4 figure wins, multiple 4 figure wins on Pick ‘em like PrizePicks or UnderDogs $5,000 Slot Machine at Mystic Lake, $1,000 scratch off.
Sounds great but I’ve ultimately lost money in the long run. Def a gambling addiction. Just fortunately up til now I do have limits.
When I was in high school my mother guilted me into putting a dollar into a pot when my parents had friends over to watch the Kentucky derby Or some other horse race. I was taking riding lessons at the time and it was my understanding that the racehorse industry was very cruel to horses, and my concerns fell on deaf ears, so I threw in a dollar, chose a horse (I don’t even remember what my criteria was or the horse’s name), and went to my room. My horse won, so I got $7. But the look on my mother’s face was priceless.
Before start of 2015-16 season, I had like $5.40 in my Bovada account. I out $4 on, I think, Bournemouth to win the Prem. I put the remaining $1.40 on Leicester City to win the Prem. Both had the longest odds.
Leicester had a magicla season. It was a joy to watch, and I’m a Liverpool fan! Ending up winning something like $3,800-4k. I forget the amount. It was so unreal.
I won $2000, betting $600 on blackjack. But my wife had a rule, to gamble I had to give her an equivalent amount in cash before I started. Then I paid for the shows we went to see, flights and hotel, so I broke even and she won $600
First time I saw my wife was at a casino. I was talking to the dealer, looked at her and smiled, and said “I always get lucky”. Lost the hand but made her laugh. A few years later we were married.
$100 playing blackjack. Lost money on blackjack but made it playing the side 3 card poker game. It’s where your first two cards and the dealers up card make 3 card hands.
15,000 on online roulette, booked a limo and restaurant to treat everyone straight away, rang around inviting people. Lost it within the next hour and had to cancel everything. Ouch. Life’s a trip, probably for the best, I had pretty big problems at the time.
About $1200 at a now closed dog track. At that track I felt the extasy of winning and also the agony of losing. The agony was almost unbearable. I’m glad the track closed.
Well, I don’t really gamble since it’s against our family values. But one day during my shift at the gas station, a customer insisted on playing heads or tails. I won the coin toss and kept that coin ever since. He had a very memorable haircut.
But a good friend of my dad once won $1.7 million. He customised the heck out of his truck, then a Peterbilt popped up for sale. He’d always wanted a Peterbilt, so he bought that and give me his original truck after it came back from the spray painter
This is a photo of me with it. First big truck I ever had
18th birthday I spent 5 on a scratch off. Won 5 bucks.
Again 10 years later I lost 9 on scratch offs.
15 years ago my friend was leaving the state and as a going away party we went to the casino where we worked and met when I was 19. I didn’t plan to gamble and only brought money for food. He insisted I accepted his offer of 5 bucks to gamble with him. We played nickel machines for about an hour and I cashed out at 90. Gave him half and went home.
$400. I put two nickels in a 5-nickel slot machine in the Sands casino (back when slot machines still took coins). I won exactly one nickel. So I put that one back in and pulled again. I won three nickels. So I put those in and won five nickels. What the hell… put ‘em in and pulled. It was fun watching $400 in nickels pour into that tray. I took my (two) buckets of nickels to the cashier, got cash, and walked across the street to the Mirage.
When I got home from that business trip, I learned that during my “big win,” my wife was in bed with my best friend.
We used to play dice after the deep house show on Sunday at the club. And It was 5$ to buy in. I won. And then one of the barback kids was like “yo ! 20$ game right now one roll!” So I won another 20 bucks. Then He was like fuck it 50$ one roll! And i won 50$…he proceeded to do a 100$ roll and guess who won lol I was stoked he was so mad
I’m not really a gambler as I know I’ll lose more than I’ll win, so I’ve only done it a couple of times. One was when I was in New Zealand. I woke up earlier than my travelling companions and I decided to go to the casino. I took $20 to the blackjack table and I told the dealer, “I’m going to play until I either win or lose.” They were absolutely dead — I was the only person in there, so the supervisor was there to watch. I played one hand and won, doubling my $20. So I took my winnings and got a nice breakfast.
I won 20 bucks from my friend betting on a UFC fight. He didn’t wanna pay up and I am pretty sure I just let it slide because I value him more than 20 dollars. Irritating though. Not betting with that welcher again.
I don’t gamble but an old work mate ( I’m Aussie) won over a $100000 on a multi bet on the NBA, he wasn’t even really a basketball fan and not a real big gambler. Wasn’t a big bet, just really high odds. He showed me the winning bet..
About 20.000€. It startet with 40€. This is a rollercoaster.
So i played online casino for like 8 years with about 50 to 100€ per month from my own money. I won a lot and lost a lot, even of some winnings. But one evening i put in 20€. Nothing. I put in another 20. When my balance reached 1.75 i pressed max bet and the game i played could actually spin on exactly 1.75. I won free games, and these free games were worth about 800€. I was like “damn, clean hit”.
Before i payed out i tested this passive jackpot game, put the passive on max bet and the normal spin on lowest bet. After around 150 euros of spinning, the passive jackpot gave me 2500€ and i was like “holy fuck this didnt just happen!!!” So i wss at around 3000 euros. I took 2000 out, kept 1000 as balance and called it a night.
The next day i chilled at our local lake with my friend, told him everything and we were just like “wth happened man, anyway foods on me today!” Then a friend of his called and he had to leave earlier, i still chilled a bit longer.
Then, i pulled out my phone and opened the Casino page on phone, i still had 1000 balance left so i just thought “why not spin here.” I played the passive jackpot game again and after around 400 euros of spinning, one of many progressive jackpots started again. I actually put my phone face down on the towel and just let the jackpot game do its thing.
(Maybe you actually know this passive jackpot games. It is called golden nights bonus on european/german slots, you can put the passive jackpot on a max of 2€ per spin, and at any spin, 3 chests can appear. If all chests open with gold in it, the passive jackpot starts. It works like this: you get 1 row spin of numbers, 1-9 and a “?” Symbol that can roll 7-15 and will be kept hidden until all other numbers rolled. The higher numbers you roll, the higher the prize. The prizes on 2€ passive spins are: 25€, 75€, 150€, 500€, 2500€, 10.000€ and 50.000€.)
Anyway, after i let my phone lay there for like 30 seconds, i take it, look at it and see that i just fucking won the 10.000€ in it. I was in shock and could not believe anything anymore. I instantly payed the 10k to my bank Account and whoops, the next day i had +12k on it from 2 gambling Sessions. It doesnt end here.
I told my other best friend that i know from my teens wtf just happened the last day and today and she came over and wanted to talk about it personally and while calm. She came over and we talked about it and while explaining, i was like “wait i can show you how and where it happened.” I opened the Casino on my pc which was connected to my TV and was like “here, these games have passive jackpots etc. etc.” She was like “do a few spins.” As you know, i still had about 600 balance left cos i only spinned 400 bucks of the 1000, and i only payed out the exact 10k i won. So i spin and i shit you not, after about 80€ of spinning, i hit the 2500€ prize, AGAIN. I just went “jup, i just got another 2500.” She goes like “are you fucking shitting me?” And i was like “nope, look at the balance, it is added already”.
I payed out another 2000 euros and now i kept 500 from the prize plus the about 520 euro from before, so i had +14k now from gambling on my bank Account and a 1k balance again. The next 5 weeks were total insanity, i hung around in my favourite hookah cafe, got cocktails and hookahs (shishas) for like 200-300 euros every weekend and spined the slots while sitting there. I have hit the 2500 euro prize 2 times on another day and my balance JUST ON MY CASINO ACCOUNT was up to 9700€ again because it always spiraled upwards slowly. There have been days where i spinned the slots for like 2000 euros without batting an eye in an hour. I hit some 150 euro prices, some 500, some 75, and every once in a while the 2500 again. I shit you not now, at one point my wager was 270.000 euros, like a quarter million
(for people who dont know what wager is, it is basically the money that went through your account in costs overall, so if you put in 50 bucks, spin 5 euro, win 10 euro and spin 5 euro again, your balance is 50 again. But your wager is 10€, because thats what you were spinning in costs)
and all of this because of 40 bucks i used a few weeks ago. Like my balance went up and down like a fucking wallstreet share chart.
Eventually, germany changed the laws for gambling, like it always does every once in a while and completely forbid ALL passive jackpot slots. The game i played was taked down. I took out the last 6k that were on my balance and put them in my bank Account, and never looked back. I even lost my interest in normal slots because all of this, it felt like so easy to obtain money, that normal slots suddenly felt like the real scam that they actually are.
The game actually came back after like 2 years because something changed again in the laws and i looked if it actually IS back. And it was. I put in 100 euros, start the game, lost the 100 euros in 1 minute without the jackpot even opening once (2€ spins burn through 100€ fast if you dont win anything) and just went like “meh.” And never touched any casino again.
All of this is true and my very best friend even lived through it with me cos we hang like together in the weekend most ofvthe time. My bank account even still has the payouts from the casino saved from 2022. And it was the wildest, craziest, luckiest, most insane shit that ever happened in my life.
Gamble responsible guys. Im not against gambling nowadays, but im also a person that never got addicted to it and could control it. Even when i was at the crazy Phase i ended it in the end. And now im out if it. I have seen people losing everything in their life to it. If you feel you fall into it, get your ass on the blacklist for casinos ASAP. Losing your whole life over it is not worth it in the slightest.
Was on a business trip for a convention out in Vegas. Gambled conservatively while I was there. Last night, played roulette for about 4-5 hours. Wound up winning around $600 or so. After getting back home, promptly spent it on a PS3
My wife and I give each other a budget of $100 each and we have had multiple nights where we have turned that $100 into a couple of grand. Our games are craps and blackjack.
$10.5K. Home game, playing “Kings and Littles”. It’s a guts game, you are in for the whole pot or you fold out of the game.
It’s 5 card draw with Ks and your smallest hole card wild. It usually takes a SF or Quints to win. After all players show, the losers deal a blind and make it’s best hand. If you tie the blind or lose, you lose and match the pot up to a $1K max burn. It was not uncommon for the blind to make Ace quints and tie the leader, meaning everyone pays and you move on to another round.
The pot builds fast. I took down two pots that were in the $8K range but I lost a lost of smaller hands as well.
Accidentally bought a $30 scratcher, won $180. My brother in law stopped at a casino on his lunch break, threw in a $100 bill on a slot machine & hit max bet…walked out $10k richer.
$770 on a keno machine. It was right after I’d broken my collarbone so I couldn’t work and was just enough for rent 🥹 I don’t gamble anymore. It was a random $5 I threw in, didn’t realize I was betting $.50 (usually $.10, prob didn’t notice from the surgery drugs lol) and only 6 numbers instead of my usual 7. Thanks, keno, and may we never meet again!
went with a friend, random lady gave me $25 in chips she won at blackjack, i proceeded to sit down and run $25 up to $650 at that blackjack table. i cashed out and never gambled since
$22k in the Bahamas. I was the captain of a private yacht back then so we just cruised right back to palm beach with it in my book bag. Felt like a drug smuggler lol
I have won a lot of the years but nothing is as exciting as the first win. I bet on a 15:1 horse to win. That rush will never be beaten. It was also my first horse race.
Not the most I’ve ever won, but my wife won $1260 at roulette in the wildest way.
She put a dollar chip on some number. It came up. I said let it ride. She did. Same number. She’s ecstatic, jumping up and down screaming. I said let it ride again. She looked at me like I was crazy, pulled all the chips but one.
Only been to Vegas twice and gambled once. I’m not into tables or anything hardcore.
Walked by one of those groups of slot machines that has the current jackpot listed. I told my wife something like “There are 5 machines there and 4 of them have jackpots around $600 and the other is at $950. I bet something in the programming has them likely to pay out around $900.” Played and won the $950 (ish) after maybe 2 or 3 tries
$100k on a royal flush in a video poker machine. It was $125/spin and you can go through quite a lot of money before hitting one.
Some food for thought: the highest payout machines will pay back something like 99.4% of the money put in if you play perfectly. That means they expect to make 0.6% of every dollar you put in over time. At $125/spin I’m “losing” $0.75/spin, which is actually quite expensive if you consider how fast a spin is.
Most people also usually go broke way before they ever hit a royal flush though.
$2,200 at the track in one day. Mostly because a slight longshot I bet $10 to win on and put in some exactas went to post at 73-1 and romped home a winner.
Oaklawn Park, 1996. I bought a PC with the money which basically spurred me into a new IT career path.
My dad, who lost his first $5 at the track and spent a lifetime trying to win it back, was so happy for me.
Not me but I got to partake in the winnings of my best friend back in college. We went to Las Vegas for fall break.
One pull (his very first of the trip) on a $100 slot machine turned into $72,000 win. That whole weekend was paid for by him including the 5Gs at the Spearmint Rhino
I’m still trying to replicate that win every time I go to a casino to this day
I love statistics and would run an analysis on March Madness pre-Nate Silver. Went to Vegas during the tournament and bet on the 10 top teams with statistical W/L chances.
I casually online gambled for a while. Just slots. I’d deposit 2-3 hundred every few months. Won 6k on a 60 cent bet first and then a few other notable wins that had me in the net green a few grand through sheer luck (I tracked my deposits and withdraws on a speadsheet).
Around 2 years ago I made a 250 deposit that came with a 250 bonus (you have to wager X amount for it to become “real” money you can withdraw). I lose the “real” balance after a bit of playing. Once I was into the bonus balance I typically played more aggressively since you need such a significant win to have a chance at meeting the wagering requirements. Right away I managed to score something like an $11,000 win. I was happy but, knew it would still be very difficult to turn it into actual cash so I stayed aggressive since I had some balance to play with. Ended up scoring a bunch of mid 4 figure wins with crazy luck. Finished the wager with $22,000 available to withdraw.
I messaged customer support to make sure it was actually mine to withdraw which they confirmed. It ended up being a huge pain in the ass to withdraw as the websites can make it very difficult. They want to
keep the balance on site for as long as possible so you’re compelled to try and win more. So, I could only take out something like 1200 every 24H. This was based on a VIP system that “leveled up” as you wagered more. By the time I got all the money out I was only able to withdraw $750 every 24H since I completely stopped betting after the win. If you go a long time without betting it lowers your VIP level so you can withdraw less. It’s extremely scummy and I wasn’t going to let them get any of it back. So I just set an alarm every day on my phone and withdrew every day until I took it all. Closed my account and never went back. Took home $22k off a 250$ bonus balance.
I rarely gamble anymore. Once or twice a year for very small stakes. The statistics don’t lie and I’m not interested in giving it back. Cool experience but extremely rare so I’d strongly advise against chasing something like that. Expect to lose because 99.9% of people do.
My mom took me to our local casino on my 19th birthday, I won $26 and change on my first pull of a slot machine. I am in my forties now and that is still the most I have ever won.
I was at WinStar Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma. I had played this particular slot machine on a previous visit, but didn’t win anything. I just had a hunch about it. I went back to play it, but it was occupied. I waited until the lady left and sat down. On my second $1.25 bet, I hit $7800.
$17,000 in blackjack. I started with $200 at a $25/bet table and turned it into $800. Took that to the high roller table for $100/bet minimum and I could not lose. I sat there for 3 hours and they were plying me with so much booze.
I was on a business trip and we were meeting downstairs in one of the restaurants for dinner. I got down there early and decided to run in the casino and play some slots really fast. Saw a colleague, sat down beside her and won $1,200 on my first pull on a quarter slot machine. Cashed out immediately and called it a night.
A few years back I won $25,000 playing Ultimate Texas Hold Em and hitting a Royal Flush. I wish I hadn’t because I was just an occasional gambler at the time. I proceeded to give most of that back over the course of 6 months, and then way more over the next 6. I now only gamble when I’m on vacation.
I pulled 5 SIR Charizards from 4 Blooming Waters. 4 were real nice and are in for grading now so potentially ~$4000? And that’s if I sell now. Might just hodl for the long profit.
$18. My one trip to Vegas, I played a dollar in a penny machine. Winning some and loosing some, the dollar lasted about twenty minutes before the last pebbly was played.
Later at another casino, I played a dollar slot, and hit a $20 win on the first try. I stopped and was $18 ahead, had played two casinos in Vegas, and enjoyed the free dinner I bought with their money.

Always a loser as any winnings went to fancy food or entertainment immediately
First time I saw my wife was at a casino. I was talking to the dealer, looked at her and smiled, and said “I always get lucky”. Lost the hand but made her laugh. A few years later we were married.
So to answer your question, negative $300,000.
$100 playing blackjack. Lost money on blackjack but made it playing the side 3 card poker game. It’s where your first two cards and the dealers up card make 3 card hands.
$15k, poker tournament
25k trip to Vegas on scratch off
$87,000.
Gave back $50,000 the following weekend.
Then the rest and more over the next 6 months and stop gambling.
15,000 on online roulette, booked a limo and restaurant to treat everyone straight away, rang around inviting people. Lost it within the next hour and had to cancel everything. Ouch. Life’s a trip, probably for the best, I had pretty big problems at the time.
$1700.00+ Tipped out the dealer $500 during these 6 hours, but started with $40.00
Turned $100 into about $600 in 3 hours of blackjack
$2,500 on Bingo
Is buying lottery tickets considered gambling? I won 700000 US dollars, but luck only comes once.
$3
$100 from a $100 ticket
About $1200 at a now closed dog track. At that track I felt the extasy of winning and also the agony of losing. The agony was almost unbearable. I’m glad the track closed.
I went to atlantic city with 20 dollars on a card, I lost a few times and got back to 17 bucks then cashed out. So minus 3 dollars.
A little over $18,000 on blackjack my first night in Vegas. I came home with about $1,000 but it was one hell of a trip
2500 on an 11 leg off of 25.
Well, I don’t really gamble since it’s against our family values. But one day during my shift at the gas station, a customer insisted on playing heads or tails. I won the coin toss and kept that coin ever since. He had a very memorable haircut.
$17 000
But a good friend of my dad once won $1.7 million. He customised the heck out of his truck, then a Peterbilt popped up for sale. He’d always wanted a Peterbilt, so he bought that and give me his original truck after it came back from the spray painter
This is a photo of me with it. First big truck I ever had
$75. I stopped after winning it and never gambled again.
$1,600 on Keno
$100. 1967 when the first million dollar lottery came out in Canada. Bought hundreds of tickets since.
I’ve “gambled” 3 times in my life.
$400 on the Jackpocket app.
Another scratcher
$3,900
$275 on slots. I put in $5 and was down to my last spin when I hit something. I honestly have no idea what was going on but I liked the winning part.
I hit 4 numbers on the only lotto ticket I’ve bought. I hit $2500 on a slot machine off $100. And I’ve won $238,879 in Texas Holdem.
Holdem is the only thing I’ve spent more than $100 on lifetime.
Busted out just after the bubble in the Foxwood Poker Classic in 2006. $110 seat (I’d won two satellites) netted me $14,000.
-1700(margin debt) > 4100 > 11,000 > 21,522
All puts on TSLA and Spy during the week leading up to 1/6/22 from December of 2021 to 1/6/22.
I proceeded to then lose it all thinking TSLA was going to dip further.
You guys win money?
Won like 80k one night playing slots. Prob 7-10 diff hand pays
I spent 20 once in slots, made 20. Never played again
$2500 on a scratch card.
I won 2500 times my bet on a slot machine once. That was wild!
$10 raffle ticket. Won a $250 catering gift certificate.
200 bucks on a 2 dollar scratcher like, 10 years ago.
$2,000
1500 on roulette
I won 20 bucks from my friend betting on a UFC fight. He didn’t wanna pay up and I am pretty sure I just let it slide because I value him more than 20 dollars. Irritating though. Not betting with that welcher again.
57k on the Melbourne Cup last year
$6,000
$1700, slots.
Was on a business trip for a convention out in Vegas. Gambled conservatively while I was there. Last night, played roulette for about 4-5 hours. Wound up winning around $600 or so. After getting back home, promptly spent it on a PS3
$72! It was a most joyous occasion. I used the winnings to treat my friends to dinner at the Denny’s next to the casino.
It was the one & only time I ever gambled. Seemed like a good idea to quit while I was ahead.
My wife and I give each other a budget of $100 each and we have had multiple nights where we have turned that $100 into a couple of grand. Our games are craps and blackjack.
$2,000 Royal on $0.50 Video Poker
$2,000 on $1 Video Poker 4A’s + Kicker
Does crypto count? Lmao
$8,800, 1 hr & 40 minutes on a craps table
Like $5k. Had to pay taxes.
$1,000,000,000,000.01
In all seriousness, I won about $83.
Accidentally bought a $30 scratcher, won $180. My brother in law stopped at a casino on his lunch break, threw in a $100 bill on a slot machine & hit max bet…walked out $10k richer.
USD$3,500 unboxing a Karambit Sapphire Doppler in CS:GO
$770 on a keno machine. Thanks, keno, and may we never meet again!
went with a friend, random lady gave me $25 in chips she won at blackjack, i proceeded to sit down and run $25 up to $650 at that blackjack table. i cashed out and never gambled since
A buck
35k
$22k in the Bahamas. I was the captain of a private yacht back then so we just cruised right back to palm beach with it in my book bag. Felt like a drug smuggler lol
250k on a 5 dollar scratch off
I have won a lot of the years but nothing is as exciting as the first win.
Number came up again.
Not enough to stop
Just over $40,000 on a local game called Bullseye. I was one of 13 peoole to share $410,000.
13$. I quit then and there!
I never gamble. I’m not good at it. Drunk as shit, I put $20 in, pressed the button, automatic $400. I was like “Bye!”
35k in 4 hours at the black jack table at MGM
$956.47
$6,600 US on a ten dollar bet.
$200 the first time i went to a casino for my 21st birthday
As a kid I bet on a horse with shit ball odds, 2 dollar bet became 86 bucks
$40 on a slot. I don’t plan on ever going again.
I won $2 on a $10 scratch card once.
2 dollars,
Like $200 at the black jack table.
$3000 on bitcoin.
I can’t really afford gambling anymore though. I miss it sometimes, but mostly I’m glad I never got addicted.
Not me but I got to partake in the winnings of my best friend back in college. We went to Las Vegas for fall break.
One pull (his very first of the trip) on a $100 slot machine turned into $72,000 win. That whole weekend was paid for by him including the 5Gs at the Spearmint Rhino
I’m still trying to replicate that win every time I go to a casino to this day
100$ maybe, one time I got talked into playing a machine with a girl and we had a good bonus round.
Other than that I don’t gamble, I hate losing money so it’s not fun at all for me.
I love statistics and would run an analysis on March Madness pre-Nate Silver. Went to Vegas during the tournament and bet on the 10 top teams with statistical W/L chances.
I went 50/50. Best lesson I ever got from Vegas.
I won the $2,500 No-Limit Deuce-to-Seven-Draw Tournament at the World Series of Poker in Vegas.
$17,550 on a five dollar slot
$20. It was glorious.
$50k, $27k and $19k all online. Different sites on keno or dice. It was crypto but still relatively easy to get cashed out and in my bank account.
€6 at slots. I chickened out SO FAST
I once started with $200 at a $10 craps game. 30 min later I cashed out with $27,000. Paris Hotel and Casino.
Started playing blackjack with $20 I borrowed from a friend. Turned it into $170, paid him back his $20, then proceeded to turn my $150 back into $20.
$17,000 in blackjack. I started with $200 at a $25/bet table and turned it into $800. Took that to the high roller table for $100/bet minimum and I could not lose. I sat there for 3 hours and they were plying me with so much booze.
Maybe like $2500 ish over the course of a week at the annual convention in Vegas.
A total of 15 dollars. Got a lottery ticket as a free giveaway and won 10 then won another 5 from a ticket I found
1250 on a 50 cent slots. Woo
I took $25 to a $25 blackjack table and turned it into $2500.
Not today IRS!!!
6/700 which let us have a really nice dinner and a few more bucks to spend in Vegas
I have $720 CAD in my bet365 account. It’s the highest it’s ever been.
Took a free promotional $5 bet & turned it into $55 on FanDuel once
$2000 on a scratch ticket I was gifted for my 21st birthday
$14k on a firelink slot. Hit the “mega” ball
Puked a first four in order in the horses. $10 bet into $10k.
I would say 800€
A grand
