Ladies who’ve been married/ in long term relationships, how much success between you and your partner came down to your life blueprints matching?

Sometimes I wonder if day to day compatibility trumps long term blueprints.

What is a life blueprint? Genuinely

Both matter. My ex was, on paper, a perfect match in terms of blueprint. We were totally incompatible in terms of lifestyle and day to day stuff. My husband? Less of a perfect match but compatible match and our day to day complements each other. That being said nothing is perfect and communication is always the most important thing. I have friends who have incredibly strong marriages where they have different blueprints/goals and live very differently at times but they love each other and communicate and respect and support those differences and ambitions and that to me matters
