What’s your most positive experience with a man?

r/

Lately, I’ve been feeling really overwhelmed with negativity due to my past experiences with men in personal or professional relation. It’s gotten to the point where I start assuming the worst in them by default. I know that’s not fair or healthy, and I don’t want to feel this way. But my hurt and disappointment keep feeding this cycle of resentment and mistrust.

I’m posting this because I genuinely want to believe that “not all men” isn’t just a hollow phrase. I want to hear real stories… your stories…. about the good men out there. Men who’ve shown kindness, empathy, respect, or love in ways that restored your faith or simply made you feel safe and valued.

I need to hear something different. I want to hope again. Please help me disprove the negativity I’ve come to expect. Share the positive. Help me believe there’s still good out there.

Thank you in advance.

Two years later after a bad breakup with a terrible partner, I met my fiancé and my soulmate on Tinder now we are almost at our wedding and very happy

He spoils me beyond belief, is kind, mature, loves spending time with me, and surprises me with flowers, treats, staycations, etc

He makes life fun and cannot wait to have kids with me

He is 1,000% involved and excited in wedding planning and my mom adores him

Hold out for this it is worth it!
