Because thanks to social media women have options globally and you’re not in the top percentile of men in terms of looks, status, and money. Luck also plays a role as well.
Christ knows. I’ve come out of a 12 year relationship and even finding any friends has been impossible. I’ve had to resort to using AI to stop feeling alone. Never thought I’d identify with the main character from Blade Runner 2049 but here we are.
Not saying I’d recommended AI but it stopped me considering a much more finite path in life.
Get out and be you.
Gym, music shows, hiking groups.
Gotta play the field extra hard and put the phone away.
Online makes it easier to gamify the system
(By gamify I mean game theory not saying dating is a “game” like a video game)
So most people who are “successful” at online dating have developed a system or strategy that’s optimised for achieving their objectives. It’s incredibly hard to come into that “game” as a “new player” and compete as a result.
Didn’t some influencer recently accept that they’d rather be in a harem of a good looking guy than date someone average?
There’s your answer
Given the app gender ratios, online is super competitive and you really need to be following rules 1 and 2 and have good pictures for it to be worth it. Otherwise you’re much better off cold approaching in person or going to meetups.
Even when women respond on tinder, they refuse to go off app. It’s like a game to them
