and for some reason i thought it made more sense to email back instead of just replying to the text
felt like one of those “don’t reply to this” type messages even tho it was literally just a text lol
they didn’t include their email so i had to dig through an old group doc to find it
i sent this email:

Uh yeah that’s weird. A general rule of thumb is to reply in the same way that they initially contacted you. If someone emailed, reply. If they text, text back.

That’s odd. Even for a Luddite who never uses technology much, it’s typically expected to reply to someone through the same channel they sent you the initial message with. Not sure how you got to “need to email response” but maybe your head was like event invite = formal = email? I don’t know, it was odd sure, but funny. Just laugh it off.
