Can you share success stories about your partner finally setting firm, healthy boundaries with their toxic family member(s)?

r/

I’m interested in success stories about partners who, at the beginning of your relationship, were blind to the toxic patterns of their family, but something or someone made them realize what was going on, how their behavior was catering to the toxic pattern, and afterwards changed for the better by setting boundaries and becoming an assertive, healthy person.
