Do you play an instrument? When did you start learning?

My family was always big on music so I think I started learning to play the keyboard at around 6 then at 8 I wanted something new so I picked up the violin and have been playing since! Started teaching myself ukelele and guitar about a year ago! Though the violin remains my favourite

Edit: I truly believe one is never too old to start learning!

I play many instruments. I started learning when I was a young teen and old enough to be left home alone – maybe 12? Mum always said not to touch her instruments unless she was around, but I had a fear of failure. So, I started teaching myself while no one could hear my mistakes.

I don’t play well, to be clear, but I happily make enough noise to encourage a sing-along after a few drinks!

I play the Piano. I started learning it around 6 or 7, a lady down the road from my family liked me and offered to teach me.

Asian American. We are basically required to play something. The stereotype for Koreans is piano or violin lol. I started playing when I was 5. Moved onto flute when I was in middle school

Yes, piano, which I took lessons for starting in maybe fifth grade and until junior year of high school, when I switched to voice lessons. I’ve lost most of my ability by now from not practicing, though!

I also taught myself ukulele about a decade ago and I pick it up on and off. I’m not good but being okay at ukulele is pretty easy.

Trombone, age 9! Also some piano and trumpet but degree is on trombone. Viva the women on brass 🙂
