[TOMT] Short Story About Man Who Starts Thinking Too Much

Thank you everyone! I would really appreciate finding this short story. Its about a man who starts thinking and can’t stop. The humour comes from paralleling a thinking problem with a drinking problem. I think this was just a short story in a 1920s or 1950s self help book. Its impossible to search using google or chatgtp. They don’t understand.
