Qualifying makes the weekend worth it. It is one of the most exciting parts of the entire calendar (obviously then followed with one of the more boring parts). This has somehow become unpopular but qualifying makes the weekend worth it and it pains me a bit to see that people aren’t appreciating the qualifying session.
Monaco is obviously also very unique and historic. Yes, it should stay on the F1 calendar.

Maybe next year with smaller cars it’ll be more a race than the parade it was last sunday. Monaco is too iconic to dispose like they’re doing with the old tracks. I cannot believe we’re getting three races on US and for what? Like what do you mean they’re putting Spa in rotation? ðŸ˜

I always enjoy qualifying – not as much as your typical race – but it’s always great to see what they guys and machines can do.
And while Monaco isn’t the most exciting on Sunday, I like watching the teams try strategies. Ok, maybe it doesn’t make a difference, but I remember in 2015 when Lewis got pulled in and was immediately like “I just lost the race”. Strategy drama can and does happen enough that it keeps me focused.
It would be better if there were more overtaking opportunities. But given it’s not all that bad to have a race with different focuses on the calendar.
