I was assaulted by famous CEO Dan Price 3 years ago, a year after my friend Kacie was raped by him in her sleep. And we are FAR from his only victims. We met when we were connected by a journalist investigating him and became best friends over the next few years… the only good thing to come out of this awful situation.
Charges were filed in my case but we were devastated when they were dropped with no warning. Then, he was indicted by a grand jury in her case this past fall and we both had hope that he would finally be held accountable.
Unfortunately, the charges were dropped today because prosecutors said it was “too much of a he said she said case” despite the grand jury indictment.
We are both extremely disillusioned with the justice system that has failed us both. In this video we made, Kacie reads her victim impact statement.
