I think the biggest one was a guy who claimed he knew a lot of crack-dealing prostitute’s, but I was safe with him because he was actually helping them break free. Yeah, sure thing buddy. I stopped hanging out with him like, pronto. Didn’t help he arrived to art class, one of the few classes I liked, drunk the next day.
Another guy said he was going to get kidnapped by people from the Dark Web, and needed my help hiding money. I told him to let me think on it. I did too, but only so I could get angry enough to call him out. He came clean about the lie pretty easily, and said he just wanted to see how I’d react. Anyways, also stopped hanging out with him ASAP.
High schoolers man. Years later and I’m still thankful I’ll never have to deal with that bull crap again.
A moronic, dumb ex of mine told me he was going to Birmingham for a few days to visit his grandma.
Despite the fact I’d MET his grandma and knew she didn’t live in Birmingham, and I knew his ex-girlfriend lived there because he’d told me previously that she did 🤣
I asked him if I had MUG (british slang for a foolish person) written on my fucking forehead. He panicked and instantly broke down and told me he’d been talking to his ex again. I broke up with him on the spot. 🤣🤣🤣
“i don’t know” when i asked my little brother, aged 4, with whom i shared my room, why there’s a piece of 💩 stuck in the middle of our wall. turns out he pooped himself because he was too absorbed with his toys to go to the toilets untill it was too late, and applying what my mom would call “young boy logic” figured out that if he threw his pajama pants through the room hard enough, 💩 would disappear.

This isn’t very dramatic, but when I was like 5 I watched Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon with my brothers. I was absolutely blown away by how the people were able to fly. My oldest brother (he was 16) told me “you can learn how to fly like them if you learn kung fu.” I was absolutely torn for days because I wanted to learn to fly but I was so scared of learning kung fu because I thought I’d get beaten up easily. I didn’t realize there were children’s classes, or that people can’t actually fly

She would get drunk and hit on our neighbors till they slept with her and then claim, they r’ed her. Well this is very serious and we should call the police and move since she’s not safe. Oh no, she likes the apt and it would cost too much to move. Though in my state the fees for moving and new deposits can all be waived by the victims fund- but you need a police report. There are penalties for providing a false report and she had gotten into trouble with police previously so suddenly it was too big a hassle and she didn’t want to leave the neighbors she did like.
Also cheated on me with her exes (3 that I know of) and multiple of mutual ‘friends.’
Denied it all until she gave me an STI. THEN she told me I cheated on her. (Total falsehood) Every date in question she provided I was working a shift at the hospital and called her on my break and on my way home.
He said he’s couldn’t lie because he got blown up in Iraq, and his immediate reaction answer was always the truth. That motherf…. he lied about almost everything.
“Your sister is the mastermind behind a plan to steal money from the company”.
My ex-husband, owner of the company who was having an affair with the finance director, to justify why the company was going bankrupt. It was not because they were having an affair and meeting up in the afternoon instead of him going to meetings with potential new customers or actually doing the work so clients would pay them. It was also not because she decided to not pay taxes and pay (extra) herself instead. It was my sister.
This is just one crazy lie he told me, that are many many others.

The neighbours house was my friend of 13 years house that her family had owned for over 25 years. That friend also introduced me to the guy at a party at her house which he seemed to have forgotten. I blocked him that same night.
The first one told me his ear was messed up looking because he got mugged (we were like 13 when he told me this) which he said he’d never told his parents.
The third one told me 1) he had an Irish grandpa who died in a car crash with him that his family never forgave him for, 2) he had a cousin who worked for a porn site, 3) he wasn’t cheating on me 🙃
The fourth one told me 1) he quit our public school in favor of homeschooling himself (true) and graduating then started working, but the facility flooded and his records were lost, and when we started dating he had to “restart” to graduate again. I helped him with some of his homework while juggling my senior year of HS and college. That’s probably the biggest lie because I believed it for so long and vouched for him to my family and friends for years. I felt so stupid when he finally told me, toward the end of our relationship.
BUT, 2) when I was younger and about a year or two into our relationship, I found texts on his phone from some rando and called him out on it after asking our mutual friends what to do. I saved those messages b/w him and the rando as screenshots to my email drafts and kept them for years. When we broke up for the last time, he saw me signed in on his or my PC (I dont remember) and deleted the drafts. THEN, actually had the gall to say “omg you didn’t have to delete those drafts!!” when we both knew i didn’t. That mf saw i kept record of him betraying me, deleted it on my behalf, then mentioned it to me. Bruh.
I had an abortion last year that I didn’t want to have but had no choice. It devastates me to this very moment and I truly don’t know if I’ll ever get over it.
Weeks later, my attention-seeking “childhood best friend” comes to me telling me she thinks she’s pregnant too. Of course, I’m naive and vulnerable and she lives in Florida so I jump in and try to help. She refuses to take a pregnancy test (she said because of money and being busy with work/school which okay sure, but???) despite having already missed her period and despite me offering multiple times not only to pay for one, but to pay to have it delivered to her house. According to her, after a few days, she finally takes a test and she’s pregnant.
She then tells me later that she had her procedure done on the literal last day before the 6 week mark, that her boyfriend was allowed to be in the room while she had the procedure done, and that they gave her fentanyl for the pain. Fentanyl. In Florida. I had mine done in a hospital in a blue state and not only was my boyfriend made to stay in the lobby in a whole other building, but I wasn’t even given a strong pain medication— let alone FENTANYL. My mom got fentanyl when brain cancer turned her into a hallucinating vegetable. For my abortion, I got a shot of toradol which is basically a super NSAID and also a low dose of Ativan for the anxiety during pre-op, but that’s it. And I was just fine.
I don’t have full confirmation that the whole pregnancy and abortion was faked, and I hate to think that it was. But the story was supremely embellished at the very least. Ain’t no god damn way they gave her fentanyl at an abortion clinic in Orlando. And the fact she was willing and open to re-traumatize someone she supposedly loves for attention and laughs (yes, there was laughter) is just… yeah.
We don’t talk much now and I’ll never look at her the same way again.

Maybe not the craziest, but one of the most hurtful. I went to visit my Mother and asked about one of two dogs that wasn’t around. She said she’d met a lady with a large farm. The woman had taken a liking to the dog and so she’d let her adopt her. I was upset. I was really fond of this dog, and would have taken her myself.
Cue around one to two years later I was riding around with my sister. I mentioned what my Mom said about the dog, and my sister just gave me this penetrating, skeptical look. My blood froze, and I started crying. My Mom was known to continuously have pets put down or taken to the pound, especially when she got tired of them. Guys, I was in my early twenties. I felt so stupid, and so sad. It was awful. I loved that dog. I wish I could have saved her. 😞
In my mid twenties, I was friends with a girl who told me her boyfriend was an abusive, alcoholic, cheater… and then told me she dumped him, kicked him out, blocked him on everything, and got a restraining order against him. For months, I listened to her tell me crazy stories about him and the shit he did while being a shoulder for her to cry on. Turns out, it was all a lie.
He wasn’t abusive. He wasn’t an alcoholic. He wasn’t a cheater. She never dumped him. She never kicked him out. She never blocked him. She never got a restraining order. The reason she lied was because SHE was abusive. She was a heroin addict. She was a chronic cheater. And he knew all of this and stayed with her anyone because he wanted to help her get sober. SHE didn’t want me or her other friends knowing the truth, so told did everything she could do separate her boyfriend and her friends.
“The phone wires must have gotten crossed!” – when my ex husband’s mistress left a voicemail on his phone telling him how much she loved him and I overheard it. Crazy coincidence that those “wires” just happened to cross with the lady you were having an affair with, on your MOBILE phone. 😂😂😂 (And let’s not forget your name is on your voicemail message, sir!)

Also he would pretend to be different people on AIM, and then when he got bored with keeping it up, they committed suicide. He did it a few times.
I saw his location was in a neighborhood about 15 minutes away from his house. When confronted, he said, “I was just going for a walk.” Mind you, nobody we knew lived in that neighborhood and, here’s the kicker, HE LIVED ON A WALKING TRAIL.
He asked for a break around that time and also accused me of cheating… so… I think he was
