19M. Throwaway for obvious reasons. I like to explore my body a bit. Recently returned from university abroad to my family’s house in my home country. Decided that I’d bring some dildos along to enjoy myself during the summer.
As a guy, the easiest and least messy way to use them is while showering. So today, when my parents are out, I go in, and after doing my business I finish showering and leave. The critical part is that I forget to take what I brought there back with me.
Cue my parents arriving, and my mom immediately rushing to the bathroom. When I hear the sound of the bathroom door, I realize that my life was now over. After she leaves I immediately rush in, hoping that she hasn’t seen it, by some miracle. What I end up discovering is that she has covered it with a towel, so at least my dad doesn’t see, which means she absolutely saw it and knew what it was.
Have not talked to them yet, and do not plan to in the next century or two.
TL;DR: Left dildos in my parents’ shower, am too emarrassed to leve my room at this point.

If so, what the FUCK is wrong with you? You must be an absolute moron of the highest order if you not only bring sex toys when moving abroad for the summer but ALSO use them in the communal shower.

I don’t know if it’s a cultural thing or depends on the country, but between parents and children there should be trust to accept these things as normal, without shame; just communication and an open mind.
A priori, unless OP hasn’t mentioned something important, it’s not the end of anyone’s life, and you should laugh about it with your mom.
I’m guessing it might never be brought up. Go get your mom some flowers or a snack or something.
And be more discrete in the future.

I suggest fleeing the country
Not that it’s a big deal but now she knows you’re gay. If you’re not gay, she thinks you are. There are certainly straight men who might enjoy a penis-shaped dildo up their butt, but the vast majority of men putting dildos up their butts are gay.

A guy I know had the opposite experience, he saw his mom’s dildo in the shower. He had planned to spend the night out and then sleep at a friend’s place, but ended up going home late at night, where he lived with his mom. He got home pretty drunk and decided to take a shower before bed. The dildo was one of those that have a suction-cup and had been left at around head-height for him, so he had to spend the whole shower avoiding it.
