I haven’t watched a show, cartoon, or series since streaming became a thing in the 2010s.
I just don’t have the attention span to sit down a watch long-form content, I literally can’t do it.
Everyone talks about all the shows they are watching, numerous shows with 30 minute episodes each, and I’m like how?

uncultured!
jk, a lot of it is probably not going to change your life anyway, but might make small talk harder if anyone ever wants to discuss the current hit shows.
Only media I consume is the one I care about, video games. But yea everyone else around me is referencing movies I’ve heard of but never cared to watch or are binge watching the newest series on insert streaming service. There’s too much to keep up with and I can’t sit through hour long episodes of a multi season show. No thank you
yeah i don’t watch tv shows, i try to watch youtube, and video games are boring as well. can’t enjoy anything
I guess the question is what do you do then? I love movies and video games as ways to immerse yourself into other worlds and the stories they tell. Also I find that sometimes movies can be good as they force you to be away from your phone and social media (assuming you aren’t scrolling while watching). It’s weird to say but it’s almost like a meditative experience.
Yeah, me neither if that’s your definition of media. I find tv and movies (some documentaries being the exception) entirely unwatchable. But both of us are here on Reddit. For my part, I read books and listen to music daily
I’m the polar opposite. If the video isn’t at least 20 mins long I won’t watch it. No tick tok or shorts for me. I spend most of my down time watching longer YouTube videos on various topics I’m interested in. I don’t even do social media anymore, with the exception of Reddit on lunch break some days.
