Committing fraud and don’t know what to do

So, years ago, when I was only about 19, I had been making really good money and paying taxes on that. Things were fine. Then my uncle (who had his hand in less than legal ventures) convinced me to buy a house for him. He would pay me back in cash, and the house would just be in my name. No problem, I thought. He told me not to worry about claiming it on my taxes, so I didn’t. Fast forward, he has been renting this property for years. He has not been claiming anything. The property is in my name. I don’t know what to do, im sick to my stomach with worry that I’m going to hit with a huge tax bill or worse when they catch up to it. The mortgage is nearly paid off, and I just want to sign the property over to him, get my name off of it, and hopefully be done with it.

You need r/legaladvicecanada. And probably a non-internet lawyer. (NAL)
