I don’t do it very often or on a regular basis but whenever I feel overwhelmed or have a lot going on in my head, I’ll just do a breathing exercise or something like that. Also, when I really can’t fall asleep, I do some yoga nidra and it really helps me to calm down. So it is quite important to me so I can handle stressful situations better
I always had a hard time with meditation because my mind CANNOT AND WILL NOT SHUT UP!! My mind is like a squirrel on coke, very fast very unserious. But I started guided meditation and that actually really helped me! I normally do it before falling asleep and oh my GOD do i sleep good after!!
I find it really helpful with clearing out the junk in my mind, and to help bring me into focus. It’s a regular part of my wellness routine at this point.
