Well, we don’t know yet. We have yet to see what the courts’ next move is. If the Supreme Court capitulates, it’s likely going to be a rough road. But, nothing is set in stone. It’s far too early to say what the future brings. If the economy continues its’ descent, we are likely to see substantial backlash to this administration.
Good riddance. Maybe libs could stop being fascist enablers and finally discover that capitalism as it exists in ameriKKKa is the origin of all the evils ya’ll complain about. This country is designed to fail from day one. No amount of “voting better” will make the problem disappear – you tried to kick the can down the road in 2020 and MAGA threw it back to your face with absolute force in November.
Fuck the liberal democracy and the fascism it masks.
It’s the beginning of the end, yes.
It will go to SCOTUS and SCOTUS will rule and we don’t know how they’ll rule – which is in and of itself a problem, because this should be a no-shit ruling. Everyone on US soil should be given due process and no one should be shipped off to a foreign torture prison. Ever.
If they rule in favor, then our country as we know it is dead.
If they rule against, then we have to figure out what the enforcement method is to prevent it from happening again. If we can’t, then our country as we know it is dead.
The worst part is that for the 300+ (that we know of) people who have been deported, we will probably never be able to get them back. Guilty or innocent, they will spend the rest of their lives in an El Salvadoran torture facility, enslaved until they die.
