What’s the deal with my pubes greying?

r/

Or, put differently: is there a typical order to people greying? I don’t have any grays on my head and the slightest tinge on very few hairs in my stubble. (29M)

I mean… If you’re 29 and don’t have any grey on your head you should consider yourself lucky.

And yeah, other hairs on your body will go grey too, chest hair and forearm hair mainly.

    1. My beard started turning at 24. It’s mostly grey. My hair started slowly turning around 28; the darkest parts are still dark, all the red and blonde notes are silver now. I noticed a few in my chest hair a couple years ago.

    Still haven’t seen one downstairs.

I don’t know if there is a typical order, but that was mine.

It’s called getting old, it happens to us all.

Chin was first for me. Still just a couple grays on my head at 48, so I’m lucky that way. Pubes first seems rare

It’s interesting how we all age a bit differently. I saw my first gray hair on my head at 16. The hair on my head was pretty much all gray by my 40’s. In my 50’s, I have about 50/50 gray/brown chest hair. Pubes are all still brown though. I guess it’s a graying wave that starts in top and works its way down.

Your pubes have gotten wiser, time to invest in a wizard’s robe and hat

Yep pubes greying is a thing once you hit 40s…. But you are 29 so I guess it’s coming for you faster

I’m starting to get noticeably gray front and center on my head but nowhere else.
