Not in the sense of some hate for them because they’ve taken some of your favourite media and made them more popular and not in the sense that you’re so used to being disappointed by them that you hate them all on principle. But like just no real interest in seeing them adapted into a different medium. Whether it’s The Three-Body Problem, The Witcher, The Last of Us or the upcoming Neuromancer TV show if I enjoyed the book or the video game first I just have zero interest in seeing the same story adapted in another way. I really don’t want to sound like a contrarian or that I think they’re lesser but just enjoying them one way is enough for me, personally. Anyone else feeling the same?
