How did your partner change when not on the pill?

r/

So I got an vasectomy so wife could stop with the pill and reduce the risk for blood clots. Hope I don’t jinx it, but my wife has become happier, funnier and hornier since she stopped with the pill. Even though she is more stressed now than before which has been the opposite to the changes now. How did your partner change when not on the pill?

That’s actually really common hormonal birth control can mess with mood, libido even energy levels. A lot of people say they feel more like themselves once they’re off it.

    My wife got super horny.

Like the horniest she had ever been. Even more so than when we were both super hormonal teenagers. My dick actually hurt from all the sex. It was amazing.

After a couple weeks she leveled out and was just a normal amount of horny.

Her acne came back much to her disappointment. She lost weight too which she was happy about. I guess the pill had her holding a lot of water weight because the weight just melted off her.

No major personality changes or anything. I went the same route as you and got a vasectomy. She was very happy that she didn’t have to take the pill. Her periods only last about 2 days anyways after her procedure.

Had we known what procedure she’d be getting the next year I wouldn’t have had to get a vasectomy, but oh well we’re just double safe.

She got an endometrial ablation so even if she produced an egg and it was fertilized she would be incapable of carrying the fetus. It wouldn’t have anywhere to implant.

Overall we’re having some of the best sex of our lives these days. Definitely well worth it.
