Well you have to analyze the situation logically first. Risk vs reward. And then what would happen if you continue to refuse to take risks. If safety is a factor, consider what would make you feel more safe and then do that or verbalize it. Sometimes fear comes from ignorance, if you need more information collect it. Anxiety can come from childhood habits or assumptions, and isnt always a hidden “truth”.
So when you feel anxious step back and examine a situation thats causing distress to see if theres actually high danger, internal fear, ignorance, or a way to make you feel more comfortable in the moment.
You should honor your anxiety when it’s telling you something real is wrong or unsafe like a gut feeling warning you about a person or situation. But when it’s just noise holding you back from growth, connection, or joy, that’s when working through it becomes important. The tricky part is learning to tell the difference, and sometimes that means leaning on trusted people or small steps outside your comfort zone until the fear feels less like a wall and more like a speed bump.
If it’s keeping you safe from real danger, trust it. But if it’s just holding you back from living your life, it’s worth pushing through. The hard part is learning the difference and that takes practice.
