I’ve done it for a year now and feel I’ve seen a lot
Just to add, none of my replies here reflect the opinions or values of my employer or TFL
Going to end this here after an hour, thank you all for your questions. Really wish I had something like this when I started training.
Anyone thinking of starting the job and has other questions, my dms are always free.
God bless

I enjoy driving a lot myself, and have spoken to a lot of cab drivers as well, and the general consensus thus far has been – it blows. IMO, for a capital city, it has some of the worst roads: poor planning, perpetual maintenance (even though before/after feels like 0 difference), etc.

Bus drivers in London are sweetest people. I left my phone on a bus and the driver picked it up, brought to garage and emailed me that the phone is there. When I went to the garage, had a little excursion from a bus driver, who borrowed me a power bank to charge my phone.
