I was trapped in an inpatient psych ward for 4 months due to a misdiagnosis when I was 16. AMA

Doing well now, I’m trying to get into medical school and ironically hope to become a psychiatrist. This entire situation really did a number on me and I have a lot of advice to give parents of kids with mental health struggles (and parents with mental health struggles); but yeah ask away!

ChatGPT is asking you : “Given your experience and your plans to become a psychiatrist, what’s the most important thing you learned about the mental health system during those four months, and how do you plan to use that lesson in your future medical career?”

Let me know what they reply!

I’ll show you after what he responded, after reading your response i’m gonna give him.

I’m sorry this happened to you, nothing to ask from my side, just good thoughts.
