Kind of click bait bc I’m not technically a “janitor” I’m a casual caretaker. Meaning whenever a Janitor needs calls in sick or needs vacation, I come in to cover for them. Job title is different but I do exactly the same job as a full time janitor at my school board. I’ve worked High schools, Elementary schools, and even a handful of preschools. AMA

What’s the biggest shift you’ve noticed in kids’ attitudes? Between whenever you started and now ? Edit: typo
From what my daughter tells me(going to graduate from high school soon) I feel sorry for you. She says everyone is disrespectful and leaves their trash all over the place. But it starts at the home. I taught her always to clean after herself. Even when we dine out, to make it easy for the wait staff to gather everything up. Never to liter. If all students did that, you would have a spotless campus. People forget that you are not a maid, you are a janitor. Good luck my friend.
