I genuinely don’t get the hype. Tony Hinchcliffe has the delivery of a guy who thinks he’s the smartest in the room but is barely scraping by on recycled insults and awkward pauses. His “roasts” are lazy, his interviews are stiff, and his ego is the loudest thing on stage.
Kill Tony is like watching open mic night at a dive bar hosted by someone who peaked on a Joe Rogan guest spot. The format’s chaotic in the worst way, and it’s more about roasting amateurs than actually being funny. It’s mean-spirited, poorly staged, and somehow manages to be both boring and cringe.
But hey, maybe I just don’t “get” comedy that sounds like a high school bully with a podcast.
