I would gather solid evidence and save it. Afterwards I would talk to my father and ask him to be honest and tell her the case. And only then would I talk to my mother.

Unfortunately, I found out after he passed away unexpectedly. Deleted all evidence and kept it to myself. There is no point in causing any more pain.
