No, I feel at home with my family. Iām very close with my in laws, so they feel just like family. Iām very comfortable around them.
No, I’ve been blessed with some really cool, easy to get along with in-laws. My FIL is a retired Middle School teacher and I’ll admit that he gave off some ‘don’t fuck with me, I control this room’ vibes, but once I got to know him, things were really chill.
I’m often more relaxed around my in-laws than with my own parents (who are great people too.)
Over 20 years ago, I asked my MIL for my bride’s hand. We hang out and sip whiskey every year to celebrate her daughter, becoming my problem.
