I don’t care how fast you can solve one. Blindfolded? Behind your back? Ten in a row? It’s still just spinning coloured plastic junk until they line up. It’s not clever. It’s not impressive. It’s just kinetic overachieving for people who could do something cool but instead waste countless hours on what’s basically a fidget spinner with more steps.
Call me bitter, but every time I see another video of someone solving a child’s toy fast, all I see is wasted potential and carpal tunnel.

I’m gonna disagree with you, a leeeeetle bit, here. It is cool the first time you see it. But after that, knowing there’s no objective value to developing such an acute skill that has no immediate real-world impact, yeah I can see your POV in general.
People spend ridiculous amounts of time getting good at shit that has no real societal value. That’s freedom though, and we should be good with freedom. lol.
