Performers are screened for serious infections such as HIV for obvious reasons, but often not for minor ones. Years ago, for instance, I saw an interview with an actress saying the had to skip work for weeks because her partner in a scene had chlamydia and gave her an eye infection with the money shot. Lip sores because of herpes are easy for even lay people to identify, but more obscure symptoms might take an expert eye. Are those common? If yes, what are the most often signs you see?

i saw a dude that intentionally posted vids of his wang full of red spots for years on ph but i don’t think that was the answer you want. Most STIs are not visible at least at first. Visible STI would presumably halt any filming of the crew / cast is responsible
You know when the tip is glowing red and has a shiny texture to the skin? That’s called Reindeer Rudolph Infection (RRI).
I’m not an expert or a professional but from what i recall, people working as performers in the adult movie industry are way more controlled STI-wise then your average joe having a one night stand.
This means it could actually be less common to have people with STIs actively performing on set, even less with a visible sign of any ongoing STI.
