When did you start feeling your age?

r/

I’m 34 and I recently felt so tight and sore after painting the kitchen cabinets the last 3-4 days. The weird angles and acute low back pains at times made me feel my age. Also had some arthritis on both hands from holding the brush and roller. I’m in fairly good shape but geez…I am so beat up after a project like that, lol. I used to be able to quickly recover the last few years.

You’re doing good, man. My knees and back started cracking a lot a couple years ago and I’m in my mid-20s.

In my late 20s, I took a fall that I thought nothing of and the next day I woke up sore all over feeling like an old man. I used to take way worse falls on the regular in high school and never felt anything the next day.

32 here. It was when I started checking the weather for joint pain more than I did for weekend plans.

In my early 30s when my balls decided they didn’t have to be where they’re meant to be anymore.

After I turn 50. Both my knees start to hurt occasionally and tummy fat starts to accumulate no matter how many crunches I do.
After it takes longer to recover after I c*mm.

It’s hard for me to answer this because I was in my “twenties” before the pandemic. Then after pandemic, after not being able to do my exercise for months, and then jumping straight to a full time job when I was 9 years used to a part time job … For me it was 29-30. Tired after every fucking shift. And I still am.
