I’m 37 and I just realized that, if I live 37 more years, I’ll be 74 which is almost the average lifespan for us humans. Just realized that, all the time I’ve lived, all of my memories are, maybe, the same time I got left until I die. How do you cope with this? Just ignore it?
How do you accept (and deal with) the fact that you are getting old?

Enjoy the moment now.. you still have many years, enjoy them rather than spending them by thinking about what will come!
Yeah, just ignore it. Try to be as present as you can in the moment and enjoy life for what it is. I just turned 49.
I remember there’s only one alternative then go find something fun to do like ride my Harley or bang the wife
Embrace it. Make the best out of every day, week, month, year.
Have a great fucking time. Be nice to people. Make the world a better place.
I’m 69 today. My mom and step dad are gone. My dad and step mom are still living. I have older cousins who will all die before I do. I take comfort in the fact that I will likely out live them all. I’m hoping for a peaceful old age full of memories and a quiet death in my 90’s.
