My hot take on pizza is pizza isn’t a meal. It’s bread with sauce and cheese. I might have a slice as my starch with wings. But it doesn’t fill me on its own.

The VAST majority of pizzas served don’t have enough sauce on them and aren’t cooked long enough. I heavily prefer some of the sauce still be actually present when you go eat it instead of baked wholesale into the dough when it’s done and for the crust to have some crunch to it instead of the slice being limp.
In short, every time I order for myself I order double sauce and well done. Nothing exactly wrong with a normal pizza, it’s just my preference.
If your work has a pizza “party”, the pepperoni pizza will always be gone first. People who wanted veggie or supreme – they’re also going to grab a slice or two of pepperoni. Order more pepperoni, Kathi!
People who have any opinion at all regarding what other people enjoy eating on pizza need real crises in their lives to refocus their perspective, provide an outlet for their nervous energy, and provide them with problems to solve that don’t involve the suitability of pineapple as applied to baked goods.

Get yourself a pizza with pineapple paired regular ol’ bacon all diced up. Maybe fancy it up with some white or green onions, maybe olives, and enjoy the salty/sweet pairing of bacon and pineapple.
Sausage is the superior topping compared to pepperoni. Pepperoni just serves as a mini bowl to collect obscene amounts of oil/grease while not filling at all. Sausage actually feels like you’re eating some meat with the za.

Anything more than two or three toppings and you’re just kidding yourself. Too many different flavors and it’s overwhelming and not fun. Too many of the same flavors and your just being redundant. Be picky, be specific and you’ll have a good time. If you want to explore swap out things that are already there. Pesto or white sauce instead of tomato sauce. A different cheese. It doesn’t need 3 meets and 3 veg.

Veggie pizzas are underrated, but be sure to ask for a well-done bake on it. It needs more time to cook off the water in the veggies.
